The Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) was put into practice and enforced since 2 July 2014. The purpose of the act is to govern the collection, use and disclosure of personal data by organisations in a manner that recognises both the rights of individuals to protect their personal data and the needs of organisations to collect, use or disclose personal data for purposes that the responsible person would consider appropriate in the circumstance .
The Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) has developed a set of advisory guidelines for the healthcare sector and social service sector. Sunlove will ensure that our staff comply with the standards of security and confidentiality in line with the regulations.
